Our Cubs classes focus on short, fun and high-energy games to help youngsters learn the fundamental movements and techniques of BJJ. Our cubs will run, jump, roll and wrestle in a safe manner while burning energy and making new friends.
Our Juniors classes build on fundamental BJJ techniques and self defence skills, while using more games and playful sparring to gently introduce the more competitive side of BJJ, including point scoring, time-restraints and, ultimately, winning and losing.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a fantastic activity for children of all ages to enjoy and channel their endless energy into.
As a martial art and sport, BJJ is a unique discipline that will help your child develop both key physical and mental attributes.
Boys and girls are encouraged to adopt positive values whenever 'on the mat', including respect, honesty, honour and teamwork.
Through learning an extensive curriculum of expressive and fun grappling-based techniques and self-defence moves, your child will also naturally build their confidence, courage and determination.
Every class involves playing lots of fun physical games as we introduce your children to new movements and exercises that will increase their strength, agility, coordination and more.
All members will be enrolled on our tried and tested jiu jitsu grading system that will reward your child's attendance, hard work and perseverance with regular new stripes and belts to keep them encouraged and motivated!
